Costa: It was a mistake to throw bib at Mourinho
Questions have been asked about Costa’s relationship with boss Jose Mourinho following the Portuguese’s decision to bench the 27-year-old, with the Brazilian-born star throwing his subs bib at his manager during the goalless draw at Spurs. “The start of the season has not been good for me, not in how I have played nor in goals”, he said.

Iker Casillas is eager for Porto to win the Europa League and Real Madrid to claim the Champions League, with the goalkeeper targeting a possible Super Cup reunion. When we have been favourites, we haven’t won. When we were candidates, we lost two semi-finals with Real Madrid, we lost two semi-finals with Chelsea.
Gent, for example, would certainly be more preferable than the likes of Juventus of Paris Saint-Germain.
“I think every second (place) team wants to play us”, Mourinho said.
Elsewhere in Group F, Bayern Munich secured their fifth victory in six matches as they ran out 2-0 winners at Dinamo Zagreb.
Chelsea are 14th in the Premier League table after losing eight of their 15 games so far and speculation was rife that Mourinho would be sacked if they failed to reach the last 16 of the Champions League.
“He could have scored two or three goals today”. “His lack of confidence?”
“So a lack of confidence, yes clearly, but the attitude is very good and the movement is much better”.
“The first goal was an own goal but his movement is great, the pass arrives”.
Defeat and an embarrassing drop into the Europa League might have meant the sack for Mourinho, but now he is optimistic of a season which has flirted with failure finishing with a flourish. This season, he couldn’t.
An own goal from Ivan Marcano and Willian’s second half strike put the Blues in position.
“The first thing he does is to look to the linesman. When he did that he lost an important second and his last touch on the ball was not the best”.
Los Che needed a win to stand any chance of qualifying from Group H, but goals from Maxwel Cornet and Alexandre Lacazette goals sent the La Liga side crashing out. This is football and I understand journalism has to meet the demands of what people want but obviously I don’t mind and I’m not interested in what a website says.

With Chelsea languishing just above the Premier League relegation zone and facing a trip to leaders Leicester next, Mourinho isn’t out of the woods yet.
