Alleged renders leak of the ‘OnePlus 3’

Based on the alleged OnePlus 3 renders from Mobile-dad, the frame’s shape still holds close similarities to that of the OnePlus 2, especially the back side that displays the OnePlus logo, along with dual LEDs and a main camera. The renders also reveal a front-facing speaker, which should be capable of improving the audio quality of the device.

Examining them more closely, it doesn’t look like the phone has the textured rear panel used on the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 in this image, but that could change if the phone becomes a reality, and is something of a OnePlus trademark. It seems fingerprint scanner has been removed but still nothing can be said concrete. Nevertheless, it’s worth mentioning that while the overall design of the smartphone hasn’t been changed, the OnePlus 3 might feature a brushed metal on the back, as opposed to OnePlus 2’s plastic battery cover. This is also a warning that these images are little more than fakes, and like every rumor, should be treated as such for now. A render has surfaced, and while you’ll want to take it with the usual dose of salt, we like what we see so far.

What would you like to see OnePlus focus on next year? So, according to the same source, the OnePlus 3 should pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a large display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

What’s more believable is the handset’s purported specs.

As reported by Archy Newsy, the new handset is rumored to look like its predecessors, the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X morphed into one phone. The leakster names the device OnePlus 3, which means this could be the company’s next flagship smartphone.
