Israeli premier rejects Kerry’s warning of collapse of Palestinian state
US Secretary of State John Kerry warned Saturday about the consequences of any collapse of the Palestinian Authority, saying it would be a threat to Israel.

A spokesperson for Magen David Adom emergency services said four Israelis were treated after the incident, but said one of them appeared to have suffered an anxiety attack and another a heart attack.
Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely said in a radio interview that she and Netanyahu, who is acting Foreign Mminister, would convene a meeting on Sunday to decide what she anticipated would be a “sharp response” to Wallstrom’s comments.

On Friday. Sweden’s Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom says Israel is conducting “extra-judicial executions” of Palestinian stabbers, shooters and drivers using their vehicles to mow down innocent Israelis.
Netanyahu said the PA has been inciting violence in Israel over a sensitive holy site that is sacred to both Jews and Muslims.
“Would millions of Palestinians be given basic rights of Israeli citizens, including the right to vote?”
At the same time, Kerry said the Palestinian leadership must do more to clamp down and end incitement against Israel and Israelis.
Kerry urged both Israeli and Palestinian leaders to recommit to the concept of a negotiated two-state solution in order to give both peoples, but particularly the Palestinians, hope that a resolution to the long-running conflict is at least possible.
“Israel has violated all signed agreements, stopped negotiations, and erased the principles of the two-state solution”, PLO Secretary-General Saeb Erekat asserted after Israel said it planned to exclude the European Union from the peace process. Adding the West Bank and Gaza, demographers have said, would make the Arab and Jewish populations essentially equal.
A pullout from the West Bank is complicated by the presence of Jewish settlers, numbering 400,000 and growing. The situation may become irreversible, with the Palestinians abandoning efforts to set up their own state and instead demanding annexation and voting rights as citizens of a single “binational” state.
“If the Israelis don’t hurry up to implement the two-state solution on the ground, they will lose”, said Ahmed Qurei, a longtime Palestinian negotiator.
But this is a minority opinion, even among proponents of the occupation.

Wallstrom has drawn censure from the rightist Israeli government before; over Sweden’s recognition of Palestinian statehood a year ago and, following last month’s gun and bomb rampage by Islamic State militants in Paris, when she described the Palestinians’ plight as a factor leading to radicalization.
