Trump is 20 points ahead in SC
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie appears to have received a slight bump from his endorsements by the New Hampshire Union Leader and past and current legislative leaders. He received 16 percent to Trump’s 24 percent. I believe he supports the constitution more than the other candidates. He pointed to retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson’s drop among Evangelicals, from 33 percent one month ago in a Monmouth Poll, to 17 percent.

Winthrop Poll surveyed 828 likely S.C. Republican voters in a poll with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percent.
They include Sen. Lindsey Graham of Seneca, the first sitting SC politician to run for president in three decades. Former New York Gov. George Pataki, former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore and former U.S. Sen.
But his proposal, which some condemned as unconstitutional, has not hurt Trump’s support in the Palmetto State as the February 20 primary approaches. The Real Clear Politics average from November 15 through December 2 has Trump at 27 percent and Rubio at 15 percent.
“In the course of a Presidential election, the voters are going to make a decision about every candidate”, the campaign said in a statement.
Among Democrats, Hillary Clinton has a 45-point lead over Bernie Sanders, 65% to 21%.
“In the fall of 1999, George W. Bush had a lead over John McCain”, Smith said.
Four out of 10 Republicans believe that Trump is the most effective candidate to deal with the many issues that the country faces. Now Rubio has become the Republicans’ best-liked candidate: 71% of Republicans now have a favorable view of Rubio, up 6 points in the last two weeks.
It’s the most critical language of Trump to come from Cruz in the race.
Those suggestions, mentioned by Trump, drew even more backing from his supporters – 80 percent of whom want mosques monitored and 72 percent support the database.
Bush and Paul were “underwater”, with 42 percent viewing Bush favorably and 42 percent unfavorably, and 34 percent viewing Paul favorably and 52 percent unfavorably.
Trump is dominating the GOP pack with 35% support, according to the new poll.
