Jon Stewart Channels His Inner Donald Trump To Support The Zadroga Act
But on Thursday, he borrowed his old buddy Stephen Colbert’s show to do just that – all while trying to draw attention to his pet issue, the so-called Zadroga Act for 9/11 first responders.

Stewart attempted again to get his message across, but was interrupted once more by Colbert who yelled, “bring the Trump!”
Obviously, that meant “bringing the Trump” – with a disgusting hairpiece and a facial coating of magic Cheeto dust.
“After the sacrifice our first responders made”, Stewart began before being stopped by Colbert who yelled “boring!”
But this was a little different from the one he made Tuesday, on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah:” This one involved a Donald Trump wig, a bag of Cheetos, and the revival of a favorite impression. “Face it, Jon, the media won’t pay attention to anything, it won’t pay attention to anything at all, unless you are Donald Trump”.
This week, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan confirmed that the Zadroga Act will be voted on in association with a bill set to be decided next week.
Stewart allows himself in the segment to be subjected to a healthy dose of Trump mockery in order to convey his message.
“These 9/11 first responders, let me tell you something, these 9/11 first responders are most top-notch, first-class, diamond-encrusted heroes America can produce!”

Stewart lobbied Congress over the bill earlier this fall and has fought for the act for years. “If I’m elected-and I will be elected-I will build a wall around politics and I will make politics pay for it”. “Tweet at your congressman with the hashtag #worstresponders”.
