Stefan and Damon have the worst Christmas ever: ‘TVD’ winter finale leaves
Tonight’s episode will play a little with all these characters while dipping into the Christmas spirit a bit as well.

“Fans were quick to notice the time change announcement and have already begun to worry the vampire-werewolf-heretic show might be headed towards its final season”. It ends in a surprising and exciting fashion, leaving the audience wanting more.
“I personally think everyone thought it was going to be a huge departure after Elena was gone”. A sneak peek has been released for “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 and it has been shown that Mary Louise and Valerie will have a bitter exchange. All of the stories here are the culmination of everything that has been building since the season premiere.
This week on The Vampire Diaries, Damon and Stefan’s search for Julian leads the duo into a small town located right outside of Mystic Falls.
But that wasn’t enough awful news for the Salvatore brothers-because shortly after, Nora, one half of the lesbian Heretic couple, got vengeance for what the crew did to her love and stabbed Stefan too. Lately, Matt has been playing a new role this season, and is no longer biting his tongue on how he feels. “All I can say about that is that they were great characters separate, they were great characters together, and they remain great characters separated”, he said. But when they found him, things didn’t go as planned. She’s going to have to make a really tough decision. The show cleverly brings the phoenix stone back into the conversation, with Julian brandishing the sword that holds the stone early in the episode, promising it will make a more important appearance later.
Nora (Scarlett Byrne), meanwhile, wants to switch sides and be a good(ish) guy. Are Nora and Mary-Louise reconciling? The newest twist totally throws us and the brothers for a loop.
We’re at least very interested in seeing what happens when the show does return, considering it left off with both Damon and Stefan felled by Julian’s magic sword. The upcoming episode will also include several time jumps that give viewers a glimpse into what life was like for Damon during the Civil War and how he will cope with his mother’s death in the present. Now that it is, if anyone gets stabbed by it, they’re trapped in the Phoenix stone.
Although we know Stefan and Damon will somehow get out of this (we’ve seen three years in the future, after all), it’s still a fun, surprising ending, the kind that TVD is known for.

She points out that Valerie has been lying to herself all of these years and has been stirring up trouble in order to get back into Stefan’s good graces.
