Klay Thompson #11 of the Golden State Warriors celebrates during the game against the Indiana Pacers on December 8, 2015 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. He did finish with a game-high 38 points, but hit just 9-of-27 from the floor with Avery Bradley primarily guarding him.

The Warriors also are bracing for guard Leandro Barbosa (illness) to sit, but Walton said there’s a chance he could play.

That defense was tested in the fourth quarter, as Boston scored 28 points, but the Warriors were able to hold the Celtics to just 16 total points over the two overtime periods.

Their 27th straight win had already tied for the second-longest streak ever, and now they trail only the 33 in a row won by the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers.

And the Warriors did it despite his worst-shooting night of the season.

Draymond Green contributed 24 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and a season-high five blocks for the Warriors. The Warriors were playing the sixth game of their current seven-game road trip, the Celtics had won four of their last five games and seemed to get stronger as the game went on. Curry missed seven of his first eight shots from the field and had seven points through the end of the quarter. They are trying to become the first National Basketball Association team to go 7-0 on a single road swing.

Iguodala scored nine of his 13 points in the two overtimes.
