Some protesters said Trump’s comments, while more explicit, were not that far removed from statements by other politicians calling for restrictions on Syrian refugees who want to settle in the United States.

The activist hacking group Anonymous has turned its attention to Republican frontrunner Donald Trump after taking issue with his recent proposal to ban Muslims from entering America.

Muscat: Landmark Group, a retail giant with more than 170 stores across the Middle East, including Oman, has pulled Trump Home-branded products off its shelves of Lifestyle stores in response to the United States. His PRVT “mansions” near his golf course in Dubai sell for $1.8 million each not clear about the amount of money goes to Trump.

Following Trump’s declaration to ban Muslim immigrants from entering the United States, CNN’s Chris Cuomo got heated during an interview and called the plan “stupid”. Trump had a long-time deal with Damac Properties for his name and likeness to be put on the housing project and two golf courses in Dubai.

According to Trump’s website, he has done more business partnerships with Muslim-majority countries, such as Turkey, and Indonesia that has the largest Muslim population in the world.

DAMAC drew a distinction between its partner’s business and political interests, but declined to say explicitly whether it was reconsidering the partnership.

“I am the least racist person that you have ever met”, he said.

Mr. Trump has attempted to make several investment opportunities in the Middle East, which his comments may now nullify.

“If he doesn’t want Muslims to come to the U.S., why does he want to do business with the Muslims in the UAE?” he said, speaking to the 7DAYS newspaper.

Trump, the billionaire businessmen who is now derided across the world for his incendiary racial remarks, drew his first flak from Emirati business magnate Khalaf Al Habtoor, who has been a staunch supporter of Trump’s candidature.

Photos from Reuters show broken pieces of signage scattered on the ground just outside the Akoya by Damac development in Dubai.
