McGregor ready to unify title
Five months ago, the UFC fans were deprived of the chance to see McGregor face Aldo when the champion pulled out two weeks before their July fight with a fractured rib. Mendes is in a desperate place, having dropped those two fights to the top two fighters in his weight class. A loss to Edgar could spell the end of the line for Mendes as an elite fighter.

Following his highly impressive victory, Edgar had a clear message to Dana White and the rest of the UFC chiefs about who deserves the next featherweight title shot: “You got to give it to me”.
UFC 194 finally is here. He is one of the sport’s great unvervalued fighters, constantly contending against and beating the best in two separate divisions through his career. One of the interesting things that has been highlighted throughout the series is interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor’s work with movement coach Ido Portal.
McGregor and Aldo will weigh-in on Friday night at approximately 11pm Irish time, in their final meeting before they collide in the octagon. “I come to fight, and this fight will be a performance”.
McGregor has had the platform to stay in the public eye, as he coached a season of “The Ultimate Fighter” that finished airing this week and took full advantage of building his own brand and taking as many shots as possible at Aldo. Aldo seemingly trying to mimic McGregor’s low stance pose and Conor on his tip toes looming over his opponent. McGregor still believes Aldo doesn’t want to be a part of what is expected to be one of the biggest UFC events of all time, at the gate and on pay per view.
“Conor brings so many interesting attacks that it makes it hard to come up with a simple game-plan”. After being caught by several powerful leg kicks from Mendes early in the first, Edgar caught Mendes with a right that stunned Mendes slightly. After about a minute of exchanging shots, Ferguson decided he had enough and got the fight to the ground. “I always get my mind right that I’m going to walk away with a bloody nose and stitches”.
Edgar leapt on his opponent but the referee dived in to call the fight to a halt. I want to say, “Don’t worry”.

“There’s always been mutual respect between me and Chris but this is for the world title”, said Rockhold, who held the Strikeforce middleweight title until UFC purchased that promotion and merged the divisions. “I wouldn’t wanna fight me either”. “I walked out of there even happier”.
