Google’s giving away Star Wars Cardboard VR headsets
One was by offering a special edition Google Cardboard in four Star Wars limited edition themes in Verizon stores on December 2nd.

This first-of-its-kind Google Cardboard Virtual Reality (VR) experience combines a compelling story and exclusive, never-seen-before content, which ties directly into the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with the very latest cutting-edge Virtual Reality technology.
Google opened up the giveaway this morning, announcing on Twitter, “These are the droids you’re looking for”. Shipping’s free too, so hurry before these are all gone! Even with that limit in place, though, I don’t expect these free Star Wars headsets to last long. They’ll be up for a few minutes, then gone, then up for a few more minutes, then gone again. Otherwise, fans can use any other model of Google Cardboard, follow the instructions to make your own if you’re the resourceful type, or try their luck at the Google Store to snag one of the Star Wars models. Unfortunately BB-8 and R2 are already sold out (wahh), but I was just able to order a set of Kylo Ren goggles for the low, low price of free.99.
