Krauthammer: Why take the Trump stunt seriously?
But a common refrain throughout all these attacks from the offended media and political establishment on the Muslim moratorium was that it would serve the cause of ISIS and other jihadis worldwide.

Trump’s demand for a moratorium on Muslims entering the United States until politicians “can figure out what was going on” was roundly condemned, although fellow Republican contender Ted Cruz and some conservative commentators praised the call.
Republicans weren’t reluctant to run with this line, despite all the “clash of civilizations” talk from many GOP candidates that sometimes made it seem like America was at war with Islam.
Syed Farook, the male San Bernardino shooter, was an American-born and -raised, mild-mannered, model citizen one day, a jihadist the next.
Like many Americans, I found it painful to listen to the president’s Oval Office speech on Sunday calling on us to stay his chosen course in the fight against the Islamic State (aka ISIS or ISIL). He says the nation needs to increase surveillance but also create relationships “with mosques in the Muslim-American community across the country”.
The truth of human history, even if it doesn’t suit today’s politically correct messaging, is the other word for “radical” is “leader”. “Muslim woman has an average of 3.1 children, significantly above the next-highest group (Christians at 2.7) and the average of all non-Muslims (2.3)”, the research found. The second factor lies in the high fertility rates among Muslims, who are the youngest of all major religious groups with a median age of 23 years old as of 2010. American Muslim women hold more college or postgraduate degrees than Muslim men. And just as Muslims around the world have to keep rejecting any twisted interpretation of Islam, all of us have to reject bigotry-in all of its forms. They also feel that Muslim leaders are not doing enough in condemning Islamic extremism. I wouldn’t be here representing Islam if it was really like terrorists make it look.
“Rubio said that he wanted Muslims in the United States to come forward if they notice those in their community, including family members, exhibiting signs of radicalization”. They live and work among us, and then kill us.
Trump may yet implode and disappear from the political stage – but don’t count on it. As he grows more outrageous and extreme, his crowds get bigger and his poll numbers soar. They are thugs and killers, part of a cult of death. Except for countries like Iran, Iraq and Lebanon, most states usually have a predominantly Sunni population.
In Indian Kashmir, top separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani described Trump’s call as indicative of an “imperialistic and sick mindset”. From gay marriage to pop music videos, jihadis have more than they need to push the idea that they are at war with a civilization they say see as ungodly. A ban on Catholic immigrants would’ve been an enormous mistake, denying us the talents of tens of millions of people and retarding the spread of our principles.
While reaction on the streets remained muted, outrage at his comments continued to reverberate among Asian Muslims on Facebook and Twitter. So, why are we blaming all Muslims for the acts of a few who are using the Islamic religion to justify their hatred?
Don’t mistake that for a religious test. A religious test would be used to disqualify all Muslims from anywhere, as Trump has suggested.
“Let’s not forget that freedom is more powerful than fear; that we have always met challenges - whether war or depression, natural disasters or terrorist attacks - by coming together around our common ideals as one nation, as one people”.

And that actually helps the jihadis.
