Bayern Munich taste league defeat for the first time this season
Franck Ribery continues on the comeback trail from injury for Bayern Munich as the German juggernauts face Dinamo Zagreb in their final UEFA Champions League Group F clash.

Ribery, making his first appearance after nine months out with an ankle injury, came off the bench to score a late consolation, but bemoaned his side’s lack of potency.
However, Bayern will be keen to make an impression after finding themselves in the unfamiliar position of having to bounce back from defeat following an abject showing at Borussia Park on Saturday.
“Every team is beatable, you just need to find good solutions”, the Swiss national team player said. Germany’s best clubs play in the Champions League or Europa League, and those aside from Bayern lack the depth to play at a high level three times in seven days.
“It can happen that you concede a goal but after the first goal we completely lost our discipline”.
“It s a pity, but it s our own fault”, admitted Ribery.
Bayern remain top of the Bundesliga table, while Gladbach have risen up to third spot with the victory.
Bayern’s lead was cut to five points as second-placed Borussia Dortmund won 2-1 at VfL Wolfsburg thanks to Shinji Kagawa’s dramatic 93rd-minute victor.
While United, City and Arsenal may be more likely candidates to sign the player, as they are more regular Champions League qualifiers than Liverpool, the presence of Jurgen Klopp-who oversaw Lewandowski’s development at Borussia Dortmund-may have given the Reds the edge over their EPL rivals [The Sun].
“We should have been ahead by two or three goals in the first half”.
And so we have our top six, although we’ve only skimmed a very broad and fascinating package of storylines. If things go to plan for Bayern which they nearly always do in the Bundesliga then by the end of the week they could seal the Herbstmeisterschaft, the unofficial title for winning the first half of the season. That space that Gladbach utilized in the first half become their happy zone and they used it to bury a exhausted Bayern Munich defense that committed a disastrous amount of errors for almost 25 minutes.

German paper Kicker has reported this latest development after Bayern Sporting Director Matthias Sammer was heard singing the praises of the forward.
