It’s always exciting to see fresh faces put on their first pairs of wings at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
But it wasn’t the bona fide Angels that had people talking; it was two other, non-Angel new recruits – Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
In years past, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has been held at New York’s Plaza Hotel and Bryant Park, as well as at the Los Angeles Kodak Theatre. Gigi completed her look with some red polarised aviators and seriously envy-inducing waves.
Lily Aldridge receives the honor of wearing the 2015 million-dollar bra. Like Taylor Swift in last year’s VS Fashion Show, Selena Gomez took center stage as she sang her hit songs, promising viewers an unforgettable night.
Ahead of the broadcast, Selena took to her own Instagram page to share a picture of herself eating a McDonald’s meal before her onstage appearance in a racy, cleavage-baring black dress. The latter replaced Rihanna who dropped from the show at the last minute.
The 19-year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel believes she has her school bullies to thank for her successful career because their torment forced her to get into modelling a lot sooner. The $2 million piece is covered with over 6,500 precious gems, including diamonds, blue topaz, yellow sapphires and pink quartz, all set in 18-karat gold.

The show is also a launching point for numerous Victoria’s Secret models.
