Roy Hodgson and Chris Coleman relish England and Wales Euro 2016 clash
England are joined in the draw by Wales and Northern Ireland, the former at a major tournament for the first time in 58 years and the latter at a European Championship for the first time, the BBC reports.

The Euro 2016 draw on Saturday pitted England against Wales and Germany against Poland in two spotlight groups at the championships.
His faith is borne out as much by the fact that England are among the seeded sides in Pot One and, therefore, can hope for a more genteel group than the one endured in 2014 when Uruguay and Italy lay in wait.
Another potential issue could arise if Russian Federation and Turkey are drawn into the same group.
In qualifying, Germany wasn’t ideal, failing to beat Ireland in two matches – losing away and drawing at home – and losing to Poland for the first time ever.
They will meet June 10 at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, on the northern outskirts of Paris.
Hosts France were already assured a spot in Group A, which should theoretically ensure an easier path to the final if Les Bleus can grab the top spot in their group.
Roy Hodgson’s England take on Chris Coleman’s Wales side on June 16 in Lens in what will be the teams’ second match in Group B. Slovakia had some great results, and Russian Federation are Russia.
“We’ll be working hard to make sure when the players go into the first game they’ll feel, “we’re ready for this, we’re capable of achieving what the nation would like to see us achieve and we’re ready”.
Vardy has only represented England on three occasions, but Hodgson is now saying that the 28 year-old has evolved into a “strong contender” for a place on the England panel.
“Whatever team we got from pot four it would have been tough, so we might as well play someone close to home”. We are going there to do a serious job and try to win the tournament. We looked at other places in France before we made up our mind.
“Sometimes you have an off-day and it doesn’t matter who you play, so you just have to concentrate on yourselves”.
“Sweden is a game to look forward to, so let’s go for it. Sweden are not a one man team, they were quite strong in qualifying but Ibrahimovic is a top class player”.
“Well, we’ve got them”, he said.

“It’s a long way off until we play, players will get injured and have loss of form”.
