Aldridge powers Spurs past Lakers
Russell nailed a three-pointer on the last possession of the half, and the Lakers trailed the Spurs 49-51 at the half. (7) during the first half.

Eventually, as a two-point halftime differential continued to grow, it was time to reflect on why Aldridge didn’t choose the Lakers, and how they planned to change that in the future. His next stop was the AT&T Center in a place where he always felt that it was home, as he told the media after the Lakers loss.
Aldridge just had to rub it in the Lakers face.
While the Lakers missed out on Aldridge, whose 24 points and 11 rebounds carried the Spurs to a 109-87 win over the Lakers on Friday, Scott said the organization learned valuable lessons.
“Most of the meeting, 75 percent or more will be about the basketball part and the other part will be a little bit about the business part of it, as well”, Scott said. “We are constantly thinking about them throughout the course of the year and always looking at what they’re doing and how they’re playing”. The Lakers will look to snap their current four-game winning streak against the Western Conference’s second-best team.
After announcing his retirement from the world of basketball, L.A Lakers legend, Kobe Bryant has recently said he would love to represent the USA at the 2016 Rio Olympic games.
“We figured it out”, Popovich said. If they don’t, I don’t care. “He’s one of those very few guys who did that”. You know what he can do. He averaged 21 or more points the last five years but he has scored 20 points only five times this season and averages fewer than 16.
Lakers: Point guard Jordan Clarkson sat out after spraining his right ankle Wednesday at Minnesota. They also offer him a chance to return to the site of his first National Basketball Association start, which he made January 23. Tony Parker had the night off, so Mills’ contribution helped the Spurs run away with the victory.
Clarkson said it was a “crazy day”. “I think it’s overblown, like we’re going to have some kind of salesman deal. Still can’t turn. Can run straight and back, but he can’t turn”.
The San Antonio Spurs did not play like themselves on Wednesday in their road loss to the Toronto Raptors.
“It’s cool to come back here and let them see what I do on a daily basis”, Clarkson said. “Once I get that trust with my coach, I know I’ll have that opportunity”. “To have them here at the game definitely means a lot to me”.
Atlanta’s post play with Paul Millsap and Al Horford might be the best in the league as the latter averages 15.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while the former is averaging 17.8 points and 9.5 rebounds – both are team-highs.
But I fear that Bryant will push himself too hard in the All-Star Game, and possibly derail the rest of his final season with a significant injury. Though I would of liked to see him shoot the ball more he did well controlling the tempo and getting his teammates involved. “I don’t look at it as ‘Aw, man!”

“I don’t pitch too much”. On the bench. On the court. His legacy is one in which every fan should be thankful as his indomitable competitive spirit and refusal to ever give in has resulted in the Association rearing the best talent ever in the history of the sport.
