That kind of divisiveness, that betrayal of our values plays into the hands of groups like ISIL. Muslim Americans are our friends and our neighbors, our co-workers, our sports heroes – and, yes, they are our men and women in uniform who are willing to die in defense of our country. “And it’s a message all of us can deliver – parents to our children, teachers to their students, leaders in politics and business and entertainment”, Mr Obama said.

Furthermore, around 48 percent said that America is strengthened by the growing number of foreigners coming to the country, though 35 percent said that the flow threatens traditional American values.
