Navigating a long stretch of road games unscathed may start to bring talk of an undefeated season for Golden State. In time, the Indiana Pacers will find the personnel to go around Paul George, and their version will get better.

Golden State’s remaining games are fairly evenly split between home (31) and road (28), and the count of remaining road games will drop to 26 by the end of the weekend.

Suddenly, it’s not just about the winning streak, as impressive as it is.

The broadcast averaged 823,000 total viewers, was the network’s most-viewed game of the season and its fourth most watched regular season game of all-time.

This is the closest we will ever come to a team truly figuring out how to play a sport, and it needs to be appreciated while there is still time.

They are the top-scoring team in the league at 115.8 points per game – 7.3 points better than second-place Oklahoma City, entering Thursday night’s action. Good luck. Before the game, Pacers coach Frank Vogel noted Indiana’s new up-tempo style was “light years” behind Golden State, and it showed. I’m excited to keep it going for ourselves and for our team.

“We’re a confident group and they’re a confident group”, Crowder said.

Thompson’s injury comes with the Warriors somewhat shorthanded.

Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry and assistant coach Bruce… They’re an easy-going group that takes basketball seriously, a collection of players who know their roles and show nearly no selfishness or jealousy, a force that’s blowing through the NBA with no signs of stoppage. But if you’re Durant, and your stated desire is to start winning championships, could you turn down the chance to play alongside Curry, Thompson, Green and Iguodala? I mean, for Curry to be shooting 46 percent from three is a joke for how tough some of his shots are, and just tells you how great of a shooter he is and how good he is with the ball, because his are all challenged.

In an interview with ESPN, Curry said: “You can try to copy it, but you won’t have the personnel”.

When asked for his prognosis, Thompson said: “I’m optimistic about life and Friday”. They just have a lot of weapons. “I want to be just like Steph (Curry) when I grow up – just a God fearing man”.
