After the announcement, Netanyahu’s office said it had nothing to do with the cancellation and had not spoken to Trump about the matter, Ynet news reported.

President Barack Obama took an indirect jab at Trump on Wednesday, saying Muslim refugees entering the country are “part of what makes America great”, referring to trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again”. “If they don’t treat me as the front-runner … if the playing field is not level, then certainly all options are open”, Mr. Trump told CNN this week.

Prime Minister David Cameron has described Mr Trump’s comments as “divisive, unhelpful and quite simply wrong”.

Trump also said, “I’m a negotiator like you folks, we are negotiators”. The number of individuals who say they hold no opinion of Islam, meanwhile, has increased since last month’s Paris terror attack perpetrated by the jihadist group ISIS, the network added.

“The State of Israel respects all religions and strictly guarantees the rights of all its citizens”.

Democrats have called on Republicans to say they’ll refuse to support Trump if he becomes the nominee.

“Trump’s temporary ban proposal is in the context of doing all we can to force the Feds to acknowledge their lack of strategy to deal with terrorism”.

The petition was initiated by Meretz MK Michal Rozin.

A spokesperson for Trump Towers was not immediately reachable for a comment, Reuters said.
