It’s the fourth straight time this season the Celtics have won on the second night of a back-to-back.

Avery Bradley scored 23 points and Isaiah Thomas added 21 points and 13 assists for the Celtics, who responded well after the double-overtime loss to Golden State on Friday.

Curry was the only Warriors player who played more than a minute to have a plus-minus for the game that was not negative.

One night after shooting a season-low 39.3 percent against the Celtics, the Warriors shot 40.9 percent from the floor – their second-lowest total this season.

The beauty of this team is that they never allowed themselves to even consider the possibility of losing.

In the last of a seven-game road trip, on the second night of a back-to-back, the Golden State Warriors’ unbeaten streak came to a screaming halt Saturday at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks. “That’s why it is so hard to do what these guys have done so far”. Tonight it caught up to us. He averages 32.8 points and is a 56.1 percent shooter with no rest, and his team’s 117.7 points per game in those situations is 10.1 better than anyone else. The NBA’s longest winning streak was 33 by the Los Angeles Lakers in 1971-72 – and it was also snapped by Milwaukee. This was no squeaker at the buzzer, but a Bucks runaway at the end.

“When you talk about the streak, what’s bigger than the streak is they’re the world champs”, coach Jason Kidd said.

Against the Bucks, it was the first time this season, the Warriors were held under 100 points.

In each instance, there was a sense of inevitability that Golden State somehow would go on one of its breakneck-speed runs to put away another opponent.

The Bucks had an answer each time.

“We will definitely cherish this, because it doesn’t happen often”, center Andrew Bogut said.

Pistons 118, Pacers 96 – Reggie Jackson had 21 points and nine assists to lead a balanced attack and help Detroit rout IN and record its fifth consecutive home victory. Michael Carter-Williams was huge off the bench as he scored 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting and recorded five steals. “It was a lot of fun and we plan on continuing to win a lot of ball games”.

“It’s definitely weird”, Stephen Curry said of losing.

“I think the beauty of our team is when we get out there, nobody’s thinking about if we lose, the streak’s over”, Curry said.

Jae Crowder added 16 points and seven rebounds for the Celtics (14-10), who have won seven of their past 10 games.

Walton said his team was slow on defensive rotations, and that 16 turnovers were costly.

Draymond Green scored 24 points with 11 rebounds, eight assists and five blocked shots. Klay Thompson, returning after missing a game with a sprained ankle, had 12 points on 4-of-14 shooting.

The Bucks have clamped down on defense of late after struggling the first few weeks of the season. “I bet there will be a little relief mentally going forward from this point”. They are now responsible for ending the two longest winning streaks in National Basketball Association history. Bucks Gs Jerryd Bayless and Greivis Vasquez were out Saturday with ankle injuries. Jabari Parker scored 19 points and O-J Mayo 18 in front of a sellout home crowd.
