McGregor landed a brutal left hand that landed flush on Aldo’s jaw, sending the Brazilian crashing face-first into the canvas. Edgar has earned his shot as well, and while he could fight Aldo for the vacant belt, “The Answer” deserves an opportunity to prove he could give McGregor problems. “You can see what’s happening around and you don’t want to see the current, or the only, champion in the country’s history going out like that”. “There is no doubt now”. To Aldo’s credit he hasn’t lost a fight in 10 years so it’s hard to imagine that McGregor is favored to win when we watch UFC 194 live streaming online or on TV tonight, yet that’s exactly the case.
The fast finish stunned Aldo as much as the Irish audience. Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor will decide as who is the undisputed featherweight champion. McGregor added that precision beats power every single time.
“Jose was a phenomenal champion who deserved to go a little bit longer”.
Boom, he’s back. We’ll see what Conor decides to do, if he decides to make the weight, not make the weight, whatever. The fans celebrated long after McGregor left the cage, singing and carousing and forming a lengthy conga line. McGregor’s emphatic TKO set up a title fight between the two biggest superstars of the sport.

McGregor picked one of the UFC’s most daunting targets in Aldo, who had made seven consecutive title defenses. That’s when a shirtless McGregor ripped a photo of Aldo in half at a bar in Brazil.
The two were originally scheduled to meet at UFC 189 in July.

Not only has McGregor taken Aldo’s belt, he thinks he has taken his spot in the pound-for-pound rankings as well. But days before the fight, Aldo was injured and forced to pull out. If he lets that right hand go, I will not be there. Just timing. These are fundamentals. McGregor (19-2-0) has now won 15 straight dating back to November 2010.
