Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals briefly clash at midfield pregame

The tackle resulted in a knee injury for Bell that ultimately ended his season.

“I’d love to shake LeSean’s hand”, Kelly said on a conference call, adding that he had tried to call McCoy after the trade. “So we know we’re the underdogs and it’s a big challenge for us”.

“Every time you play a team for the second time in the season, they are going to see what you did in the first game and you are going to have things off that”, Guenther said. Behind them are the Steelers with a 7-5 standing. He has thrown for an incredible 383.5 yards on average over his last four games, including 10 touchdowns in that time. “They don’t like us, we don’t like them, point-blank”.

Heath Miller and Bengals offensive lineman Eric Winston stood off to the right of the central bunch and appeared to have a casual conversation. Jeremy Hill had 60 yards on 15 carries, part of his season-long sophomore slump. But without a more reliable running game, the Packers will be hard-pressed to beat out the Vikings in the NFC North. Dallas still has a pulse in the putrid NFC East, though it has shown no ability to beat a good team this season. He also seems to have some of his confidence back.

This will be altogether much tougher and the hosts have yet to convince everyone that they can win the high-profile match-ups – their two defeats to date both came in nationally televised encounters against Houston and Arizona. Green is one of the best wideouts in football and they can not allow him to have a huge day down field. Indeed, even if Pittsburgh wins this one, its chances of surpassing Cincinnati are not strong.

HAPPY RETURNS: The Steelers are done experimenting in their return game. Pittsburgh demoted Jacoby Jones after the former Pro Bowler fumbled twice last week in a win over the Colts. In my opinion, the Chiefs have a good chance to win out, so the Steelers need the Jets to get a loss.

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE: The Bengals are 5-1 this season and 21-4-1 in their last 26 regular-season home games at Paul brown Stadium. Antonio Brown is second in the league in receiving with 1,310 yards, Martavis Bryant is quickly becoming a Randy Moss like deep threat, and Markus Wheaton has finally got in sync with the offense and has produced 251 receiving yards with two touchdowns in the last two weeks. Green and Mohamed Sanu don’t have time to get open.

Paris is probably not on anyone’s shortlist of hotbeds for American football, but on Rue St.-Jacques in the Latin Quarter, near the Sorbonne and Notre Dame, is an establishment, called W.O.S. Bar, where Packers fans gather each week to watch the team play.

It goes to figure that Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has been around for those last four games.
