Roy Jones Jr urged to retire after Enzo Maccarinelli knocks him out in Moscow New Russian citizen Roy Jones Jr was knocked out in the fourth round of his bout against Enzo Maccarinelli on Saturday.

The former four-weight world champion was fighting for the first time since he was granted Russian citizenship in October.
Jones was awarded as Fighter of the Decade way back in the 90s by the Boxing Writers Association of America.
Former WBO cruiserweight titlist Maccarinelli, 35, has not held a world belt since losing that strap to compatriot David Haye in 2008.
Bloody Elbow continued: “The third was probably Maccarinelli’s, but again fairly close”. Jones went down and the referee immediately called the fight. It’s always tough for athletes to admit when it’s over, but hopefully Roy Jones, Jr. can call it quits now.
After losses against Danny Green and Hopkins in the late 2000s, the veteran’s last defeat came against Russian Denis Lebedev in Moscow in 2011.

Jones beat the count but Maccarinelli sensed victory and another uppercut and a right hook sent Jones crashing to the canvas for a second time.
