Today’s Tales of The Star Wars begins with a spoiler warning.
Star Wars: Episode, The Force Awakens faces lofty box office projections for the opening weekend, ranging between 170 million and 220 million Dollars just in the United States and Canada, a level never achieved in December. The 73-year-old movie star responded to a question regarding his favorite action scene in the seventh installment in the series. It’s certainly a welcome sight that should instill even more confidence in J.J. Abrams following the much detested prequel films.
As the release date of the new Star Wars movie draws ever closer, fans are eager to find out more details about the plot.
Director J.J. Abrams, producer Kathleen Kennedy, and stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Mark Hamill all give interviews, with Abrams saying “It’s a world I want to get back to immediately”. Terse? Definitely. That doesn’t change the fact that this is potentially a surefire sign that The Force Awakens will, at the very least, live up to the spirit of the original saga. The secrecy has stirred rampant online speculation, particularly about the fate of Skywalker, who is absent from trailers and posters promoting the new film.

Finn, the actor’s character in the upcoming film, is one of the leads and is the only person on the light side of the Force to have been seen wielding a lightsaber in the upcoming film as-yet. That said, he is expected to attend the film’s L.A. and London premieres, so we’ll soon get the verdict from the man himself once the red carpet press catches up with him. “These characters, their lives…though they’re in a galaxy far far away…it’s a journey that people can relate to”, Ridley said. “I think he’s right”. My family couldn’t go see the movie until a whole week after it was released.
