After Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump called for a ban on Muslims entering the United States many criticized the idea and on Wednesday, boxing legend Muhammad Ali weighed in on that and the Islamic religion.
The announcement came nearly immediately after Benjamin Netanyahu condemned Trump’s comments about Muslims.

“The State of Israel respects all religions and strictly guarantees the rights of all its citizens”, the statement said.
Mr Trump later told Fox News he had called off the trip because he didn’t want to put political pressure on Mr Netanyahu.
Adding that it was a “semi-scheduled” visit, the business tycoon said that his postponement was also “because I’m in the midst of a very powerful campaign that’s going very well”. “At the same time, Israel is fighting against militant Islam that targets Muslims, Christians and Jews alike and threatens the entire world”, the Prime Minister’s Office quoted Netanyahu as saying.
The shift in travel arrangements comes just a day after 37 members of the Israeli Knesset sent a letter to Netanyahu calling on the prime minister to denounce Trump’s recent plan to temporarily bar Muslims from stepping foot on USA soil.
In Indian Kashmir, top separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani described Trump’s call as indicative of an “imperialistic and sick mindset”.
Michal Rozin, a Meretz lawmaker who drafted the letter to Netanyahu, said that “while leaders around the world condemn the Republican presidential candidate’s racist and outrageous and remarks, Netanyahu is warmly embracing him”.
“We previously regarded America as a role model for democracy, equality, peace and justice”, he said.
