Real Madrid to make a move for Arsenal FC

Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil was once again in fine form for the club.

The Spaniard’s birthday coincided with the Gunners’ 2-0 win at Aston Villa, but he was unable to play as he faces a spell of up to four months on the sidelines.

Fans jumped to the defence of the Germany global, who has started the season in a rich vein of form and is leading the Premier League assist chart comfortably.

Ozil now has more than double the assists of anyone else in the top flight after laying the ball off for Aaron Ramsey to score Arsenal’s second at Villa Park.

With the current struggles that Real Madrid are facing at the moment, speculation is going on in the Spanish media that Los Blancos may lining up a move for Arsenal FC playmaker Mesut Özil.

The German global picked up his 13 Premier League assist of the season, a league tally which betters any other player in Europe’s top five leagues this season.

Ozil’s record this season makes a mockery of Moyes’ pre-match comments, though one does have to wonder whether the now unemployed boss has actually seen much English football this season.

‘But that has really helped him to come out and show how good he is, week in and week out.

It is believed that current Madrid manager Rafael Benitez is not convinced by James Rodriguez and the Spaniard wants to replace the Colombian star with Ozil.
