Trump on Cruz: “A Little Bit of a Maniac”
Trump led the pack of candidates seeking the Republican Party’s nomination in the 2016 election with 35 per cent of support from Republican voters, the opinion poll released on Friday found, the same lead he held before Monday, when he said Muslim immigrants, students and other travelers should be barred from entering the country. Anderson conducts the Fox News Poll along with Republican pollster Daron Shaw. “I’m more capable, I have a much better temperament, I actually get along with people… better than he does”.

With a 21 percentage-point leap that smashes records for momentum increase in recent Iowa caucuses history, Ted Cruz is dominating in the state and could be considered one of the favorites to win the GOP place in the race for the White House, says USA Today.
Trailing Cruz and Trump in the DMR poll, released Saturday, is Ben Carson, the one-time leader in Iowa who has seen a persistent slide in the last couple of weeks there.
But Cruz’s sudden momentum in Iowa complicates Trump’s plan.
The poll shows Cruz with 31 percent of the GOP support, and Trump with 21 percent.
“I thought his remarks were very, very tough … to the African American community”, he said.
Update: If you want confirmation, take a look at these new numbers from Georgia.
On Wednesday, Cruz reportedly told a closed-door meeting with donors in New York City that they should be concerned about Trump controlling a nuclear arsenal, given his volatile nature. “I’m leading him by a lot”, Trump said, later adding that he believes Cruz can only maintain his friendly posture for so long. We saw a lot of it in 2012, but that was an odd situation given how the Republican candidates rose and fell so quickly. “Do you do that Des Moines Register?”. He acknowledged, though, that he hasn’t been publicly critical of Trump. Marco Rubio 52 percent and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush 42.
After that story, Cruz issued a statement saying that voters have to make a basic decision about all candidates: “Who has the right judgment and the right experience to serve as Commander in Chief?”
On ethanol, Trump suggested Cruz was hypocritical for opposing federal support for that fuel, a major Iowa industry, while backing tax breaks for oil companies.

Trump’s comments came several hours after Bloomberg Politics tweeted that results of the latest poll, commissioned in partnership with the Register, will be published Saturday at 6 p.m. Eastern Time. The 2-point lead falls within the poll’s margin of error. But there may be reason to think Cruz might have more staying power-perhaps even the inside track to become the nominee-if he wins on February 1.
