Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has rebuked Republican campaign rival Donald Trump saying “I no longer think he is funny”.
In the aftermath of attacks by Islamic extremists in Paris and in San Bernardino, California, Trump has called for monitoring mosques and barring Muslims from entering the United States.
The last poll of Georgia from this firm was in September – you know, when everyone figured Trump’s summer-distraction numbers were about to collapse – and it gave Trump just under 31 percent. Anonymous said that the take-down was a “statement against racism and hatred”.
The poll also found that seven in 10 likely Republican primary voters believe Trump is well-equipped to confront the threat of terrorism, with four in 10 “very confident” he could respond to the threat.
Anonymous has declared war on Donald Trump over his hugely controversial proposal to ban Muslims from the US. However, former Bush Adviser Karl Rove noted in the Wall Street Journal last month that a brokered convention is “not necessarily a bad thing”.
Back in August, a group of Anonymous hacktivist apparently broken into Donald Trump’s corporate website to leave a tribute to The Daily Show host Jon Stewart on a defaced page.
Mr Trump’s proposal earlier this week was met with an intense backlash in the U.S. and across the globe from leaders who said it was divisive.
