Star Wars Mania at Fever Pitch Before New Film Opens

Abrams revealed that he was shooting one scene for the film with IMAX cameras earlier previous year, which had us pretty excited at the prospect of seeing a new Star Wars movie on the big-big screen, though it’s not proving to be as easy as we’d hoped.

At the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre where the first “Star Wars” premiered in 1977, fans are already camped out, eagerly awaiting their turn when the film opens for regular folks next Friday. “When you go to see a movie in that format you know you are going to get something that is the best version of going out to the movies”. There is also no escaping The Force in grocery stores, cosmetic shops, restaurants, ice cream stands – and just about anywhere else. “Finally, we will be able to exhale”, the 40-something said.

Crews are setting up a tent spanning four city blocks on L.A.’s Hollywood Boulevard for the world premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens Dec. 14.

Harrison Ford delighted a group of fans when he made a surprise appearance at a special preview screening of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” in Australia. “I think they were just seeing many, many girls because obviously, if they weren’t, then I would never have been seen”.
