DICE confirms it has started work on the next Battlefield, but is it actually Battlefield 5 or a new Bad Company?
Electronic Arts DICE is responsible for a number of franchises that are extremely popular; among those are the Battlefield games as well as Star Wars Battlefront, which is why some of the developers in there work on a number of projects together.
Tell us: What would your ideal Battlefield game entail?
“Battlefield 4”, on the other hand, suffered server problems during its initial release that despite being fixed overtime, reviews were already marred by the said glitch.
With the recent release of the Battle of Jakku DLC (and rumors of a new playable hero), Battlefront will remain in the spotlight for the immediate future.
The news should surprise no one, given that EA CFO Blake Jorgenson had already stated that the publisher’s 2016’s core shooter title would be “another Battlefield title”.
DICE is still delivering regular updates for Battlefield 4, constantly tweaking weapons and game mechanics, which shows that there’s a wide number of gamers who are interested in such a title.
