Preparations are in their closing stages for the premiere of one of the most-awaited sequels in cinema history – Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
So far what we do know is that veterans Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher will reprise their roles as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia along with new heroes Rey, a mysterious scavenger and Finn, a runaway stormtrooper played by newcomers Daisy Ridley and John Boyega.
The chance to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens on real film instead of the normal digital style is attracting attention from many star systems and putting Regina on the map in the galaxy.
Lucasfilm-owner Disney declined to comment or provide details about the premiere, but it’s expected to take over the TCL Chinese Theatre, as well as the nearby El Capitan Theatre and the adjacent Dolby Theatre, home of the Oscars. The kind we see in this all-too-real ad from “SNL” that shows the newest additions to the Star Wars toy collection.
Force Awakens will hit screens on December 18 in a multitude of formats, digital 3D, three different Imax 3D versions and regular digital 2D, said The Hollywood Reporter.
According to reports, the wedding itself will be live-streamed, and Ritter will be wearing a Star Wars-themed dress. “However with JJ Abrams, old special effects, our favourite actors, the only thing left is the writing – it could be good, it could not be”. The “Star Wars-” themed headsets are not only usable for gaming consoles but for PCs as well, which makes for a more exciting gaming experience. The movie premiere will take place on December 14 and 15 in the USA and Europe, respectively.
