Star Wars fans ready for Force Awakens premiere in Los Angeles
The poster for the seventh film of the Star Wars saga in China is slightly different from the original one as black characters have been dwarfed in size and even erased, leading to controversy and accusations of racism.

The premiere will sprawl across three cinemas on Hollywood Boulevard: the Chinese; the El Capitan; and the Dolby Theatre, where the Oscars are routinely held.
Star Wars newbies might think the franchaise’s key location is “just space”, but we know better.
He said: “We’re putting yellow tape round the handles of our weapons. Eight foot Wookie outfits, which might block the view of those sitting behind, will also have to be discarded”.
Check theater websites for tickets and showtimes; there have been some reports of sold-out screenings, but there’ll be plenty of opportunities to catch it, since most of the above-mentioned theaters are showing it on multiple screens.
