Halo 5 Video Shows the December Update’s Forge Mode in Action
Forge was previously introduced in an earlier game in the series, “Halo 3”, which allowed players to create maps and edit them as well, so those who have been playing the series for a long time are ecstatic about the editor coming back in “Halo 5”.

That’s about it in terms of what 343 Industries has revealed about the game’s January downloadable content (DLC), although the developer did also provide more details about the update that is due to arrive this month. Inner Dead Zone is used to prevent drift (camera movement when you aren’t applying any input to the look stick). According to 343 Industries, the SPNKr Rocket Launcher which consists of dual tubes will come in “four flavors”.
“Look Acceleration adjusts the time it takes to hit max look speed when you peg (apply 100% input in any direction) the look stick”.
What are your thoughts on the free updates for Halo 5: Guardians?
“This is caused because the analog sticks do not always return perfectly to the centre for a variety of reasons (manufacturing tolerances, wear and tear on the controller etc)”.
The inner dead zone is the small area where the analog stick’s center position ignores input.
For the tuning process, Halo suggested “turning the Outer Dead Zone down to 0% and test if you run into cases where you can’t hit the “pegged state” and encounter slow turn”.
Meanwhile, for the Outer Dead Zone, players will be able to increase it and respond to “100% controller input”, thereby enabling them to prevent slow turn problems. If you do get slow turn, increase it a bit more and try again. But there is one condition, the player needs to win a match on either mode to get the free Req pack.
First, the game’s December update, known as “The Cartographer’s Gift”, will be available this week. Aside from the map-editor which comes armed with new features, the update will also bring more than 50 REQ cards, three new arena maps and a new Warzone map, as per the report.
