What Happened After Adele’s First Concert In Four Years Is Too Emotional
The one-night-only concert event will be premiering on NBC this evening, after being teased for the last few months.

The show was billed as Adele Live in New York City, but not long after the program started a subtle headline pointed out the show was actually recorded on November 17. The British songstress will entertain the crowd as well as millions of viewers in the one-hour NBC special. “I sing it from an unbelievable place because of my man who is here tonight – and I love you – and this is the first show that he’s ever seen me do!”
Adele is not giving you flashing lights, dancers or multiple outfit changes, just a microphone and a voice.
And before singing “Someone Like You” she told the audience: “I wanted to write a song that would be my song”.
So where can you catch Adele Live in NY and when will all of the action go down? The concert includes songs from her latest album, which she will be performing on her 56-stops North American tour that was just announced.
After a ideal rendition of the heartbreaking ballad “All I Ask” off her bestselling album, 25, even Adele had reservations about her performance.
And Adele performed some of her best, most emotional, tear-worthy songs to date, breaking out “Hello”, “When We Were Young”, and more.
The Grammy Award-winning singer broke out in 2009 with her single “Chasing Pavements”. But for now, her concert in NY is taking center stage and it will be a spectacle we all want to indulge in.
“Hello” (2015) Adele’s debut single for the album “25” is the first music video to be filmed with IMAX cameras.

In celebration of the release of “25”, Adele will take over NBC with performances on “Saturday Night Live” (Nov. 21), “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” (Nov. 23) and “Today” (Nov. 25). It has been viewed more than 2 million times on Youtube in its first nine hours.
