Daisy Ridley awe-ridden at ‘Star Wars’ role
J.J. Abrams’ space sci-fi film “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens” is coming to theaters in few days and in line with this, some fans are getting ready for the film in their own ways.

The actress, who was working in a bar when she won the new role, said she recognised the Star wars films are a “lifestyle” for their many adoring fans.
Editors at Australian site Bmag.com report that at the end of the screening, Harrison stood up and told the surprised audience to keep their lips sealed about the movie’s plot.
Monday’s premiere is the culmination of years of planning, filming and marketing “Star Wars” for a new generation.
“The Force Awakens”, the first “Star Wars” film in 10 years, also stars the saga’s old hands Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill as well as newcomers John Boyega and Oscar victor Lupita Nyong’o.
One contributing factor to “Star Wars'” advantage over “Avatar” is the increase in theatres in Russian Federation since 2009 – which is now home to more than 3,800 screens, compared to the country’s 2,100 screens in 2009. Experts predict that products tied to the film could bring in up to $5 billion in revenue for Walt Disney Company, which paid $4 billion for Lucasfilm in 2012. Afterward, the group will lead a parade of costumed revelers into the French Quarter, accompanied by a brass band enjoying a medley of “Star Wars” music. “Finally, we will be able to exhale”, the 40-something said. The Force Awakens has notched up $50 million in domestic pre-sales, according to U.S. media, breaking the record set by The Hunger Games in 2012.
Amid rumours that a key character from the original 1977-83 trilogy may die in the latest film, Ridley said: “What I found really lovely is that I get to do all the fun stuff – run around the desert and fight baddies – but her story is really emotional”.
LOS ANGELES (AP) – Stormtrooper mannequins lined the red carpet as “Star Wars” made its highly-anticipated return to Hollywood Monday after a decade-long absence from the big screen.
“It’s a tradition and I would do it even if the movie was bad”.

Daniels, whose familiar voice and mannerisms have been behind the beloved robot since the beginning of the franchise, said he’s observed similar reactions from fans to Star Wars over the years.
