We’ve seen the pictures of Conor McGregor celebrating with his fans after beating Chad Mendes – the latest UFC video shows the quiet moments the Dublin fighter spent with his family immediately after his win.

“I am not going to only beat McGregor up, I am going to make an example out of him”, Aldo said in the interview with Rock Bola radio. “He’s got power, but he’s more accurate than anything”. But, I don’t know whether he’ll be back.

Why’s that? Well, Kavanagh didn’t provide details regarding the nature of the injury, but he did say that McGregor had damaged his knee, and that it wasn’t fully healed until two weeks prior to UFC 189. If a man pussy’s out, and he has pussied out time and time again; I mean, the medical reports state that he is fit to fight.

While their first meeting was a close fight, MacDonald appeared to be too tentative in too many instances that night. “He was eating elbows, taking punches, and this guy likes to fight”. “I’ll do more exams”.

– Conor McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh recently spoke with The MMA Hour. We weren’t able to train at full pace. “So this wasn’t us at full capacity either”.

“So we’re 100% confident that it’s flawless now”.

“He was able to deal with all positions, there were some scrambles, there was a lot of wrestling and it held up and there’s nothing wrong”.

Despite the massive success of the recent fight and McGregor’s seemingly overnight victory, controversy regarding the severity and authenticity of Aldo’s rib condition which forced him to back out of the headliner continues to linger. The questions about the wrestling ability of McGregor are warranted, and it will be his toughest test when he finally feels Mendes’ rushes and takedown attempts. “His timing a little bit on the sprawl and dealing with the shot was not quite there”. Normally the peak comes for the final fight on the card as they get ready to lead into the PPV, but for whatever reason it was the fight before it between Swick and Garcia that did so, and even that fell just short of the million barrier.
