Injuries to both long snappers forced Raiders to go for 2

The linebacker sacked Brock Osweiler five times, including one for a safety, and the Raiders snapped an eight-game losing streak against their AFC West foes with a 15-12 victory.

“He’s been playing on a nicked-up ankle for us for a couple of weeks”. They scored on one of them. Let me see what’s going on. Early last season Condo went out with an injury and his replacement, Travis Goethel, had a terrible game, with a high snap on a punt and allowing a blocked punt. Unfortunately, we kept making mistakes. “I should know better than that”. He got there faster than I could get the football out.

“It’s frustrating. It’s very frustrating”.

“It didn’t go our way today, Davis continued”. They’ll of course, need to run the table to get to nine wins, but if they can dig deep, learn from their mistakes – and not repeat them – and play the type of football we’ve seen them play this season, anything is possible. We’ve got to talk through his situation, where we’re at, and talk to “Greek” [Head Athletic Trainer Steve Antonopulos].

Osweiler refused to blame his receivers for their many mistakes, his coaches for a conservative game plan, his running backs for gaining just 1.6 yards a carry, or his protection for getting him clobbered. That’s just the way it worked out for us.

Also, Oakland’s go-ahead touchdown was set up by a muffed punt by Emmanuel Sanders at the Denver 11.

“I mean, nothing has changed”. The play led to what turned out to be the game-winning points on a 16-yard pass from Derek Carr to Mychal Rivera.

“That’s the next step: that he’s coming back for practice”, Kubiak said. “Virg was open in the back of the end zone”.

“I haven’t been a part of a game that was such a 180 from one half to the next. I’ll make sure that doesn’t happen again”.

Green said he’s never sensed animosity from the defensive players, and linebacker Brandon Marshall said the league’s top-rated defense doesn’t hold any grudges against the NFL’s 24th-ranked offense. The second half also included him holding the ball too long to fumble in the end zone for a safety and displaying a complete lack of awareness in the pocket as he took sack after sack. We had a chance to really do some damage in the first half, didn’t do it and then obviously helped them in the second half with two turnovers, I think four or five drops and we lost the line of scrimmage offensively, in my opinion.

He has a point there by saying Brady was given his opportunity because of an injury, but we are talking about one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. He put together a solid performance on Sunday in the Broncos loss to the Raiders (7 receptions, 74 yards), but the only thing people will remember from the game is going to be this awful drop on 4th and 5. He zipped a pass to Marshall, who took off down the sideline, stiff-armed a would-be tackler and tip-toed the sideline all the way into the end zone for a 61-yard touchdown and a 27-0 lead.

Oakland rookie TE Clive Walford had a breakout game for the Silver & Black with 3 catches for 47 yards
