Australia have put in batsman Usman Khawaja’s name in the 13-man squad for the Boxing day cricket Test here against the West Indies.

Former Australian leg-spinner Warne said that he would love to see Gayle and Bravo in the Test side, adding that although their participation was good for the Big Bash, it was a shame they were not playing worldwide cricket, News.com.au reported.
The 36-yr previous has a popularity as a cricketer who values profitable Twenty20 contracts than Test caps, however he says he needs to play Test Cricket in 2016.
Gayle also has injury concerns and earlier this year had to have surgery on a debilitating back injury.
Legendary Australia leg-spinner Shane Warne believes an intervention from the legendary Brian Lara is warranted in order to save the West Indies’ troubled tour Down Under from becoming a full blown crisis.
“I played [four] games in Bangladesh, a sort of tester for my back. I scored 92 in a game and the next day felt like I’d been hit by a bus”, he said.
“You want to see that Calypso style getting to the forefront of their cricket in a few years but at the moment they’ve got a bit of inexperience and they need their senior players to stand up”.
Paceman James Pattinson said Sunday he did away with his remodelled bowling action and returned to his old approach to spearhead Australia to an emphatic innings victory over the West Indies in Hobart.
Usman Khawaja will face a fitness test later this week which will determine his chances of returning to the Test arena on Boxing Day.
“I haven’t batted for such a long time”.
“It’s a young team, so we have to definitely give it time rather than be so harsh on West Indies cricket all the time. Test cricket is still on the agenda, for sure”.
“I don’t know which blokes you’re talking about”.
“We are delighted that so many have embraced the day-night Test concept”, Sutherland said in a statement released on Tuesday.

Darren Bravo’s innings of 108 and Kraigg Braithwaite’s innings of 94 out of a total of 148 has already been praised by other writers, so I will not highlight those obvious positives in the loss to the Australians.
