Shatrughan Sinha raises questions over CBI raid at Kejriwal aide’s office
The raid had triggered a political storm, with Kejriwal alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with whose Bharatiya Janata Party government he has been feuding since taking over, was trying to intimidate him.

“I want to categorically say that it was CM’s office where the raid was conducted, DDCA (Delhi and District Cricket Association) files were looked into”, Sisodia told the media.
” I am warning you Modiji! Modi is a coward and psychopath”, he said, sparking an angry condemnation from a furious BJP which demanded an apology from the Chief Minister for his “disgraceful” remarks.
Mohan Guruswamy, head of New Delhi’s Centre for Policy Alternatives think-tank, said he was not surprised by the raid given the history of tensions between the two men. Foreign currency of the value of Rs 3 lakh was also recovered from the residence of Kumar, CBI sources said.
TMC leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay said the raids had “perturbed” them and rejected the government’s claim that CBI was an “independent body”, claiming that the agency could not have acted without the Prime Minister’s knowledge. Joshi had in July registered complaints with CBI and Anti-Corruption Branch of Delhi Government, accusing Kumar of indulging in corruption.
Targeting Kumar, the Central Bureau of Investigation swooped down on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s office at the Delhi Secretariat over a 2007 corruption case, triggering a string of angry responses from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader who took office in February 2015.
“They say that my choice of words were incorrect, but your actions are bad”.
Kejriwal tweeted pictures of files taken by the CBI, and claimed they had no connection to the the investigative agency’s allegations against his secretary.
– Arvind Kejriwal (@ArvindKejriwal) December 16, 2015Jaitley called the allegations “absolutely rubbish” and said: ” I don’t think I should comment on rubbish.

The AAP’s claims of raid on Delhi Secretariat was no more about the DDCA irregularities which the Delhi government intends to probe, he said. What has the present office of Kumar got to do with these files which he handled in his previous avatar?
