Hillary calls on Muslim-Americans to help thwart terrorism
Setting herself in distinction from the Republican presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton said that that United States can cease home-grown terrorism and outlined a plan to battle radicalization on American soil.

An intelligence report formally found that at least two of Hillary Clinton’s emails stored on a private server while she was secretary of state were “top secret”, according to a Fox News report.
Clinton’s campaign billed the speech as a “360-degree strategy to keep America safe”. She also highlighted the importance of working closely with Muslim-American communities, and speaking in Minnesota was only fitting, considering the state’s law enforcement has become a successful model for combating homegrown radicalization.
Clinton also called for social-media vetting of visa applicants, preventing terrorists on the no-fly list from buying guns, and restoring the ban on assault weapons.
As President Barack Obama’s former secretary of state, Clinton holds direct ties to the White House’s national security policies and has largely endorsed the president’s approach to dismantling the Islamic State group. “It’s been identified as a hotbed for terrorism”, Hussein said.
“We can’t afford another ground war in the Middle East; that’s exactly what ISIS wants from us”, Clinton said. “This speech today was more focused on partisan politics than the existential threat we face from ISIS”. “To do this we’d like stronger relationships between Washington, Silicon Valley and all of our nice tech corporations”, she stated. She noted the US must target the “network of enablers” that help finance ISIS, in addition to fighting the organization online to cutoff recruitment.
Authorities have said about a dozen Minnesota residents have traveled to Syria to join jihadist groups since late 2013, and several more have tried.
Somalis in Minnesota have tried to stop the recruiting with strong anti-terror messages and programs aimed at creating opportunities.
The Democratic frontrunner directly rebuked the concept of containing ISIS, something Obama claimed to have accomplished just hours before the coordinated terrorist attacks that killed 130 people in Paris. They have a champion.

It is also yet another example of Clinton looking ahead to the general election, where terrorism is an issue more important to independents and Republicans than Democrats.
