Javier Hernandez reveals conversation with Louis van Gaal prompted Manchester United exit
The striker spoke about his good form in an interview with Spanish TV Show Fiebre Maldini, explaining his situation at Manchester United and LVG’s attitude towards him.

Javier Hernandez has added to the pressure on Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal by claiming he was given only a “one per cent chance” of playing in his position by the Dutchman.
On Aug. 13 Van Gaal tabbed Hernandez as Manchester United’s No. 2 striker behind Wayne Rooney, but Anthony Martial’s September 1 arrival at Old Trafford on transfer deadline day changed the situation.
Hernandez’s experiences under Van Gaal are in stark contrast to the time he spent playing under Sir Alex Ferguson at United.
“Who scores the winning goal shall win”, a defiant Van Gaal said after the latest loss when injuries were blamed for losing to a team with perhaps the most debilitating collection of sidelined players in the top flight.
Mexico star Hernandez has scored 15 goals in his last 12 games for Leverkusen, with United managing just 10 in the same period.
“I had a great time there”.
United now sit fourth in the Premier League table, despite their recent failings, six points behind leaders Leicester.
“I had an incredible start with many opportunities, but ended badly because of a lack of opportunities, but I am totally grateful towards Ferguson”. I think he’s the best there’s ever been, especially his squad management skills.
Manchester United fans have every right to be upset and concerned regarding the play of their favorite club this season.
The players’ planned Christmas drinks were cancelled this week while Louis van Gaal gave his squad two days off in an attempt to lighten the mood, but there is no disguising that United are at a low ebb.
Although Carrick admits dropping out of Europe’s premier club competition is tough to take, the England midfielder says everyone at Old Trafford will now be looking to win the Europa League.

In truth there are more than enough examples of Van Gaal cast offs excelling elsewhere not to include players who bring a sentimental tear to the eye but are no longer what they once were.
