‘Affluenza’ teen sought after probation officer lost contact
Ethan Couch, who killed four people while driving drunk, has been spared jail by a judge who says his rich parents never taught him about consequences.

His blood-alcohol level was three times the legal driving limit at the time of the June 2013 crash near Fort Worth.
“It’s our understanding that the court has issued a directive to apprehend to have Ethan detained because he is out of contact with his probation officer”. And there were seven other teens in the pickup, including two in the bed.
And Hollie Boyles, and her daughter, Shelby, left their home to help Breanna Mitchell, whose SUV had broken down by the side of a road.
Instead, Hardee said she found the clip elsewhere on Twitter and chose to save it, then sent it to officials after Couch’s offending seemed to have passed under their radar.
During the trial, his defense attorney said his client is the product of “affluenza”, caused by his parents. He also was required to attend a rehabilitation facility. That online video appears to show Couch at a party with alcohol.
Earlier this month, a six-second video posted on Twitter showed young men playing beer pong.
The teen could end up behind bars for up to 10 years if he is found guilty. At the time, Sam Jordan, a spokeswoman for the Tarrant County district attorney’s office, said the DA’s office was looking into the video.
Tarrant District Attorney’s office spokeswoman Samantha Jordan said the office is “looking into the whereabouts of Ethan and [his mother] Tonya Couch at this time”. But even if a judge approves the request, it would not go into effect until after his 19th birthday in April.
