Mike Tomlin’s not anxious about Antonio Brown’s celebrations
The Pittsburgh quarterback threw for 364 yards and four touchdowns in the Steelers’ 45-10 dismantling of the decimated Colts on Sunday night.

On top of becoming the first Steelers player to catch two touchdown passes and return a punt for a score in a game, Brown also became the first player in team history to reach 6,000 career receiving yards and 1,500 career punt return yards.
As if another thrashing at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers wasn’t painful enough, the Indianapolis Colts are uncertain if they’ll have quarterback Matt Hasselbeck available for next Sunday’s trip to Jacksonville. One week after the Steelers only attempted 14 rushes in a loss to the Seahawks this performance was more indicative of what the rushing attack has done on a consistent basis this season.
The Steelers are an example of a solid football team, and Hasselbeck and the Colts struggled against them.
William Gay’s play in the slot had kept Boykin on the bench, Mike Tomlin said, but Antwon Blake and Ross Cockrell’s poor tackling in Seattle prompted the Steelers to try Gay outside to make room for Boykin in nickel packages.
Hasselbeck wasn’t at all sharp and blamed himself for his interceptions, especially that first one after the Colts recovered kick returner Jacoby Jones’ fumble.
Let’s get this out of the way right now, Gore did not play great. We had the fumble recovery on the kickoff and turned the ball over without getting any points. “But we’re not going to be afraid to take the shots on third-and-short or third-and-medium, we’re not just trying to get first downs, we’re trying to make plays”.
I would have to look at replays to see if he was covered up, or if the gameplan (for whatever reason) was simply to not get him the ball. Hasselbeck had come into Sunday night’s matchup with the Steelers with a 4-0 record. Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant combined for three touchdowns and 232 yards on 12 receptions.
BILLS 30, TEXANS 21: In Orchard Park, New York, Tyrod Taylor threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Charles Clay with 1:53 left to lead Buffalo.
“I was full of excitement”, he said.
Late in the second quarter on Sunday night, they trailed the Indianapolis Colts by 4. We feel like we’ve been battle-tested, so I think we’re primed and ready to play a team like this.
Running back DeAngelo Williams added 134 yards on 26 carries for Pittsburgh.
The Steelers’ defense limited Indianapolis to 240 yards of total offense and forced three turnovers.
Meanwhile, the Colts continue to wait for the return of starter Andrew Luck, who’s missed five games this season, including the past three with a lacerated kidney and partially-torn abdomen.
Roethlisberger provided the exclamation point with a 48-yard pass to Brown, three plays before the wide receiver hauled in his second touchdown catch. Hasselbeck has been under center for four of the team’s six wins this season. McAfee, though, had one punt returned 71 yards for a touchdown by Antonio Brown in the fourth quarter.

Then, in the third quarter, down 28-10 and driving, the Colts drive stalled deep in Steeler territory.
