Samsung Galaxy S6 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update release imminent
Jonathan Cheng reports for The Wall Street Journal that Samsung is going to add a pressure-sensitive display reminiscent of Apple’s 3D Touch feature and a new high-speed charging port to its upcoming line of smartphones. The technology essentially allows the phone to detect the varying levels of the pressure with which a user presses on the screen giving users a new way to navigate and interact with the device.

“The S7 is really competing head-on with the iPhone”, said David McQueen, a research director atABI Research.
Thankfully, that’s not all the WSJ’s sources have heard.
USB Type-C: convenient orientation, fast charging (a full day charge in 30 mins) and speedy data transfer capable next gen connector.
Samsung has just released three new devices from the Galaxy A series, but it does not stop there. Reports are now indicating that the Android 6.0.1 update is in the works for Samsung Galaxy S6 and it is likely to release soon.
Beyond that, prepare to be disappointed.
Quite like the Galaxy S6, Samsung, reportedly, will introduce an “Edge” variant of the Galaxy S7, meaning the Galaxy S7 will come in two versions – one with a flat screen and the other with a curved screen. Obviously, many said that the look of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge units look very similar to the iPhone. According to reports from Tech Radar, a benchmark result from both chipsets, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 and Samsung’s Exynos 8890, has recently passed outstanding scores.
Along with above mentioned features, Galaxy A9 includes a 13MP camera with optical stabilization and bright f/1.9 aperture to capture lovely images.
Samsung will be adding Samsung Pay compatibility to the A9, too and it has a home button-mounted fingerprint sensor like the Galaxy S6. The new smartphones are expected to debut during the Mobile World Congress which is scheduled to start in February 22, 2016 and will go on sale a few weeks later sometime in mid-March. The smartphone houses 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The camera lens will be flush with the back of the phone instead of bulging out as the Galaxy S6’s lens does.

The accelerated timeline is an apparent attempt to capitalize on buzz around the device during its announcement according to sources.
