In line with this, different people express their opinions on what they think about the film as a review for the film.

Tarantino told Howard Stern on his radio show that the ArcLight theater chain was supposed to book “The Hateful Eight” into its Cinerama Dome when it opens next week.

“We were gonna play at the Cinerama Dome on the 25”, the upset director said about the showing of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”. The Cinerama Dome was built for widescreen viewing in 1963.

“I’ve never seen you do anything quite so sweet”, Tarantino told Stern.

Tarantino later clarified that he is angry with the Disney Corporation and not filmmaker J.J. Abrams or any of “the Star Wars people”. Maybe we wanna play throughout the entire holiday season.’ So we’re gonna go to the Cinerama Dome and say that they can’t honor their contract with us to show the ‘Hateful Eight’.

According to Tarantino, his three-hour film was set to play there starting December 24, but “Star Wars” has taken its slot as it gets extended play through the holidays. The Hateful Eight will make us party like it’s 1959. “They do not need to be this vindictive…”

Stern then proceeded to address Bob Iger after reminding Tarantino that the Walt Disney Company CEO was an avid listener of the show.

More than $100 million worth of advance tickets to Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been sold, Variety reported on Tuesday.
