Reports suggest Pep Guardiola ready to leave Bayern Munich
Last month the Bayern chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, revealed that they had yet to begin negotiations over extending Guardiola’s stay but admitted talks were scheduled to take place after Bayern’s match against Hannover on Saturday. “We just keep going”, he said.

The Spaniard is expected to announce next week that he will leave Bayern Munich in the summer, when his three year contract expires.
Even Bayern fans got in on the act.
Sporting director Matthias Sammer claimed he was in the dark about Guardiola’s intentions on Wednesday when he told Goal: “I don’t know what Pep will decide”.
It was a spoof contract to remain Bayern’s coach for the rest of his life. All Guardiola had to do was sign his name and fill in “whatever amount of money he thought appropriate”.
Bayern Munich’s flagging stars admit they are relishing the chance to rest during the forthcoming winter break when they discover whether Pep Guardiola will stay or go at the end of the season.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea are also reported to be interested in the services of the two-time Champions League victor as their clubs are not performing well under Louis van Gaal and Mourinho, respectively.
The Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich had long seen Guardiola as his dream coach, and the two men met in Paris to discuss the job at Stamford Bridge.
However, according to Marca, Guardiola has made a decision to leave the German champions at the end of the current campaign.
It would be his third European crown after his 2009 and 2011 success with Barca and would only enhance his pristine reputation. “What I believe or think doesn’t really matter now”, said Lahm.
Manuel Pellegrini will become the casualty for City despite doing a good job winning the EPL title and League Cup in 2014.
Such are the expectations that would fall on Guardiola’s shoulders should he arrive in Manchester.

But after Bayern’s 1-0 win over Darmstadt on Tuesday night, Guardiola refused to comment on questions about his future.
