Super Smash Bros DLC Release Date: Nintendo Direct for Wii…

Most of the new characters were either known (Cloud Strife) or generally uninteresting (Corrin from the upcoming Fire Emblem Fates), but there was one surprising addition to the roster when it was revealed that Bayonetta is officially coming to Smash Bros. So what did the company reveal?

Masahiro Sakurai appeared onscreen this afternoon at 2 Eastern to make Nintendo’s final announcements regarding Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. Additionally, she will have two costumes from both of her games: from Bayonetta 2, her short hair, and blue clothes; from the first Bayonetta, her long hair look, along with her costume “A Witch With No Memories”. Purchasing Corrin on just one platform will cost $4.99 while getting the character for both Wii U and 3DS will cost $5.99.

This is applicable for both the 3DS and Wii U in which Super Smash Bros.is playable on.

The final Nintendo Direct for 2015 held a lot of surprises, making it an extra special broadcast for fans of “Super Smash Bros”.

The possible characters joining in to the game in the next “Super Smash Bros 4” DLC include Banjo-Kazooie, Ridley from “Metroid”, Inklings from “Splatoon”, Isaac of “Golden Sun’s” and Shovel Knight. The world sighed at the thought of yet another Fire Emblem sword-wielder in Smash, but Corrin looks like they have enough unique moves and abilities to not be a Marth/Roy/Ike clone. Much like Robin, both the female and male versions are available to play as and act the same so it’s down to your personal taste which to play as.

Meanwhile, the next wave of amiibo characters were revealed. 4 will finally get fresh release details on Cloud Strife DLC. And don’t worry, Nintendo has every intention of creating Amiibo figures for Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta. Fighter Ballot when averaging out votes worldwide; she certainly was the number one choice in the European vote.

In addition, Corrin and Bayonetta will be available sometime next year with Bayonetta in February. Despite having been out for more than a year, Nintendo has kept a steady stream of new content, including characters, stages, songs, and costumes flowing. Famicom color R.O.B., Ryu and Roy will be launching on March 18, 2016.

And if you don’t accept these facts as why Bayonetta was the flawless choice for Super Smash Bros. Their love for the game seems to be so intense that Tom Hall, id’s creative director recently released a Commander Keen inspired stage for Super Mario Maker on Wii U.
