The Seattle Seahawks (8-5) have re-signed running back Bryce Brown on Tuesday after Thomas Rawls was placed in season-ending injured-reserved with a fractured ankle that occurred on Sunday during the Seahawks 35-6 win over the Baltimore Ravens (3-10).

Rawls left Sunday’s game against Baltimore in the first quarter with a broken ankle after he was pulled back by a gang of Ravens tacklers on a 3-yard loss.
Brown has 1,004 career yards rushing after two full seasons with the Eagles in 2012 and ’13 behind LeSean McCoy and seven games previous year with current Seahawks runner Fred Jackson in Buffalo. Lynch is rehabilitating “off site”, Carroll said Monday.

The Seattle Seahawks are probably already chalking up a win on the schedule right next to where it says the Browns name but even that would not guarantee them a spot in the postseason, according to My Northwest. Carroll said he did not know whether Lynch would be able to return this season, but he did say Lynch had a good chance of coming back at some point, particularly should the Seahawks progress in the playoffs. That’ll be the next thing we look forward to and see how that works.

Now he’ll compete with Harris for the main running back reps with Jackson serving as their third-down option.
Brown is back after Seattle released him November 21 after he was inactive for two games. And fortunately, they play the St. Louis Rams the week after the Browns, another team that they should have no issue beating. Wilson went 4 for 5 for 58 yards, capped by a touchdown pass to a wide-open Baldwin.
