The pair was photographed as they made their way to Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s annual Christmas lunch.

Prince George looked so adorable with his chubby cheeks and curly hair looking all dressed up in a white polo shirt under a blue cardigan.

Well the festive season is officially underway for the royals.

The royal family’s Christmas celebrations are in full swing! He sat in the vehicle with his hand resting on his chin.

Prince William was also absent, as he’s attending the memorial of a family friend in Wiltshire today, but Prince Charles, Camilla, Princess Eugiene, Zara Philips and a number of other members of the royal family put in an appearance at the glamourous annual event.

With his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, sitting beside him in the back, there was no time to say hello though.

He arrived in his father Prince William’s Range Rover along with his mom Kate Middleton and his uncle Prince Harry. Princess Charlotte, 7 months, was also in attendance, accompanied by her nanny, Maria Borrallo.

The lunch marks one of the few royal traditions the Duke and Duchess will be adhering to this year as they will join the family for Christmas Day mass and then stay in their own home at Amner Hall, Norfolk.

Inside, the children were presented to the Queen and little gifts are laid out on chairs along a corridor. The East Anglia Ambulance pilot revealed that Prince George couldn’t be more excited.

Other guests spotted going into the palace included Mike and Zara Tindall and their daughter Mia. “I think George will be extremely bouncy this year because he’s suddenly worked out what Christmas is all about”.
