Crystal Palace manager embracing American investment in club
According to Sky Sports, Crystal Palace Palace co-chairman Steve Parish and his fellow investors Steve Browett, Jeremy Hosking and Martin Long have secured a £100 million investment in the club after agreeing terms with United States investors Josh Harris and David Blitzer.

Pardew told a news conference ahead of Saturday’s game at Stoke: “I have been involved with Joshua and David to some degree and I see they have a passion for this football club that has grown”. This investment had always been deliberated over and it looked like the deal was going through late previous year before talks cooled.
However McArthur says he is enjoying life with the Eagles and is concentrating on trying to fire the club into Europe rather than worry about rumours linking him with a move.
“I have met the potential investors, they have a passion for this football club that reflects mine and that of chairman Steve Parish”, he said.
The former Palace midfielder said he hoped the club’s fans could now “look forward to the future with expectation” and added: “A phoenix can rise”.
I don’t think we’ll be doing too much business in January, maybe a few on loan.
Crystal Palace now lie in 6th place in the Premier League, and their next fixture is an away tie at Stoke City.
He said: “Yes, it was on the agenda of course, and it wasn’t by any means a deal that was ratified in any way, but there were very strong feelings the guys would come on board and of course I needed to be part of that to understand what Steve Parish’s vision was for the football club”.
“Steve deserves a lot of credit for where this football club is”.

Parish, who helped save the club from bankruptcy in 2010, will remain in charge of the day-to-day running of Crystal Palace while a reported £50m will also be invested in the stadium. “We have signed players at the right money, at the right time, and that is why we have such a good squad”.
