Minnesota mom sinks half-court shot, wins half off tuition
A Minnesota mom says she said a little prayer before hoisting a basketball half-court and sinking her shot to win thousands of dollars off her daughter’s private school tuition.

Angela Ramey’s family raised the most money for a Bethany Academy fundraiser benefiting the hungry in the local community.
The unbelieveable half-court alley-oop shot and Angela’s shocked reaction when she realizes the ball went in the basket!
Ramey missed the first shot and then her nine-year-old daughter, Grace, took the second shot and also missed. I bounced the ball.
Due to her mom’s incredible shot, Grace will attend Bethany Academy on a half-tuition scholarship next year.
“GMA” gave Ramey the opportunity to make a basketball shot again, and also announced that the show will make a donation to a children’s hunger charity. The third shot though involved something pretty special, and an even better celebration of disbelief. So high, it went right through the hoop.

Bethany Academy’s Bruce Maeda told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that it was nice reward for the family, which helps out quite a bit at the Bloomington school.
